Shootout at High Noon

A old, dusty book lies on shelf in the far corner of the library. The title 'Stories of the Old West', strikes your  curiosity. You open to the first page...

The story of the Wild West is one of human history. Love, hate, violence, determination, justice, honour, revenge, idealism, the quest of self-fulfillment, just about any sort of human trait imaginable brought the Old West to life…and brought it to an end. Far away from major metropolitan areas, the Old West had its own character, one that displayed less finesse, but a heck of a lot more grit. To mistake these people for ‘common folk’ would be a gross error in judgment. Respect had to be earned, you just didn’t get it buy riding into town on a pretty looking horse. What you could get if you weren’t mindful was a price in your head. It was a different place and time regulated by different rules. If you stick around for a while, I can share some of the stories I’ve heard. I don’t know how much truth lies in them, but I reckon a good deal. Grab yourself a whisky and make yourself comfortable…
